La Casa Azul

Casas are sacred.

Through the generosity of our OneLife Partners and community/church involvement, we were able to build the first Casa for this family of six. Prior to their Casa Azul, this family was living in extreme, uninhabitable conditions.

Their sacred casa made of mud, sticks, and grass, would turn turn to mud every time the rainy season would come, causing a multitude of health problems. People from the community joined together to bless their fellow neighbor and a beautiful casa was built with block and concrete, able to strongly withstand the natural elements.

On the left is their previous casa made of mud, sticks and natural materials. Pictured on the right is their new Casa Azul.

Furthermore, we partnered with six families to pour six concrete floors. These 6 families had built strong walls but were unable to finish their floors. They were still living in casas with dirt floors. By pouring concrete, we were able to reduce health diseases.

Through our benevolence ministry we were able to also meet these needs:

  • Blessed a local school in San Nicolas with much needed equipment and supplies

  • Provided food and shoes to more than 100 children at the Finca De Los Niños orphanage in Valle de Angeles, Honduras.

  • Provided medical, financial, emotional and physical care  to families living drastically below the poverty line in the small villages of San Nicolas, Sinai and surrounding villages.

We’re grateful for our OneLife Partners who have made all of this possible!
